Our 2007 calendar introduces a photo series by Hood River, Oregon artist
Jacki Sterner interpreting the peculiar nature of the language of bicycles
and cycling. We thought we’d heard just about everything, but working on
this project revealed a few words and phrases new to us. Perhaps some are
new to you, too. For those that may be puzzled by a term or two, we’ve
created this web companion featuring explanations, insights, and outtakes
from the production process. We will publish the details for each expression
right here on the first day of the corresponding month from the calendar
