April 2007

“Holeshot” as defined by Geoff Kabush

Start line, front brake on, lean into it, pressure on the pedal, countdown from fifteen in your head....3...2...1, snap it full power, if you’re thinking about clipping into your pedal it is too late, the race to the first corner, the race to the race is over in milliseconds. You can’t win the race with a holeshot but you can make it a whole lot easier on yourself.

About Geoff Kabush

My name is Geoff Kabush, born April 14, 1977 which makes me 29 and a good choice for April's word. I grew up in Courtenay, BC and have a degree in Mech. Engineering. I am married to Ms. Keri Pink and have two dogs and two cats....would love to get some pink Chris King stuff. I currently race bikes for Team Maxxis. I am passionate about all kinds of bikes, a good shot of espresso, having fun....which may include dressing up and heckling, promoting drug free sport..see doperssuck.com. I have run Chris King headsets my entire career and I am thinking about moving to Portland to be closer to the source. I am pretty good at biking...some results:
