The HOW100
Nashville is one cool city. Did you know they have a full-scale replica of the Parthenon and some great road riding? Our friends at Gran Fondo Cycles host the HOW 100 each September. The Hope On Wheels 100 is a one-day cycling event for women wishing to find a cure for breast cancer. In 2005 the HOW100 raised over $70,000! For 2006,
Gran Fondo built eight custom Hope Bikes featuring Chris King’s Pretty and Strong NoThreadSets that alone have raised $6000.
Speedgoat
Speedgoat Bicycles of Lauglintown, PA has teamed up with Chris King and other suppliers each of the past two years to
build a custom pink-themed bicycle. This year’s bicycle, a Moots VaMoots was raffled off and raised $21,600 for breast cancer research.
